Movement with Meaning — NVŌK’s First Run Club

On Sunday, June 29th, 8 runners met for a 1-mile trek around Centennial Park. In less than 30 minutes, they were able to sweat, inspire change, and donate over 250 meals. Here’s how they did it.

To celebrate and promote their new partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, the NVŌK team launched its inaugural run club with a goal to make giving back easy, energizing, and accessible.

Second Harvest has been serving the Middle Tennessee community for nearly 50 years, providing not just food, but resources, support, and hope to neighbors facing food insecurity. NVŌK wanted to amplify that mission by turning movement into impact.

We all want to do good. But with busy lives, it’s not always easy to find the time. That’s where NVŌK steps in. Founded on the belief that philanthropy should fit seamlessly into everyday life, NVŌK connects people to causes they care about and helps build a community of active change-makers.

So they ran for something bigger than themselves. And in doing so, they sparked conversations around food insecurity in Middle Tennessee.

NVŌK’s founder Hunter pledged $2 for every runner, and the participants added an extra $47. 63 bucks doesn’t sound like a shockwave, but that supplied over 250 meals through the Second Harvest Food Bank.

8 people. 30 minutes. Hundreds fed.

This was just the first stride. NVŌK is on a mission to turn everyday actions into lasting impact. So the next time you hit the pavement, ask yourself: What do you run for?
